This issue was very difficult to compile for many reasons. First, Dr. Leininger was a significant mentor for all of us involved on the journal. Several journal board traveled to see her over the past several years, and two journal board members were with her two days before she passed away. Although she would have never wanted her work to stop, it was nonetheless difficult to to continue. If not involved with her care and wellbeing before her death, many of us were involved with tributes and memorials after her death; some of us were involved with both.

We are dedicating this issue to Dr. Leininger.
